Ingredients
- 1 can crushed pineapple in juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 box cake mix (white or yellow)
- 1 or 2 sticks of butter (some recipes call for 1 stick, some 2. I used 1 and 1/2)
Preparation
Step 1
Spray 13 x 9 pan lightly with Pam.
Spread whole can of pineapple juice and all on bottom of pan.
Spread cherry pie filling on pineapple.
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pie filling.
Slice butter into pats and arrange over dry cake mix.
Bake at 350 degrees until nice and brown on top. Usually takes 50-60 minutes.
I serve hot with ice cream or whipped cream.
