Sage Advice - A toasted PB Sandwich with Sage Cheddar 1 Picture

  • Hearty multi-grain bread
  • Chunky Peanut Butter
  • sriracha
  • Shallot
  • Garlic
  • Thin slices of sage cheddar or similar
  • Thin slices of tart green apple
  • butter or similar

Step 1

butter one side of each slice of bread.
Spread thick later of peanut butter on one.
cut a single shallot thinly, sauté with garlic, then add about a tablespoon of sriracha.
Slice thin slices of cheese.. I used sage cheddar.

toast the sandwich in a griddle with the peanut butter, shallot slices spread out, and slices of cheddar. Toast at low enough a temperature so that the peanut butter can liquefy a bit before the bread burns.

Take off griddle, insert very thin apple slices.. and eat.
