BUTTERY POUND CAKE
Got this recipe from Canadian Living, February 2016. Very traditional pound cake.

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 3 tbsp milk, room temperature
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups white flour
Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter with sugar for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 2 minutes between each addition. Add milk, vanilla and salt and beat in. May appear curdled.
Add 1/2 of the flour and mix just till moist. Add remainder and mix till moist.
Put in a parchment lined 8" x 4" loaf pan. Bake at 325 for 1 1/4 hours.
