  • 12 eggs, separated and at room temperature

Preheat over to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour baking tins (see note) and set aside. In
a medium bowl. combine raisins and cup bourbon, stirring occasionally until whiskey is absorbed.
In a large bowl, combine cherries and pecan pieces, reserving some of each, if desired. to decorate tops of cakes. Add raisins and 2 cups of flour, and stir to coat fruits and nuts. On a piece of wax paper, stir together the remaining flour. the baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
