- 7 peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tsp light brown sugar
- 1 cup rice (don't have to cook)
- 1 white bread slice crumbled or more
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- lots of tomato sauce as desired
In butter cook onion, add tomato sauce, brown sugar, salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Set aside.
In bowl, combine rest of ingredients with 1/4 tsp pepper. Fill cored peppers. Put in sauce in Dutch Oven. Cover and simmer for hours.
