Step 1

Tenderloin should be at room temperature. Remove silver and fat. Rub oil over entire roast then add generous amount of salt and pepper. Put in oven at 425 for 20 min. Turn down to 350 for 25-35 min until Rare in the thickest part. Remove from oven and tent with foil for 10-15 min before slicing.
