Ingredients
- 2 (14 oz) cans chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- I medium red pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup fine egg noodle
- 1/3 cup green onion
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger root
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
- 1 cup fresh pea pod
Preparation
Step 1
In a large sauce pan combine chicken broth, water, red pepper, carrot, egg noodle, green onion, soy sauce, ginger root and crushed red pepper flakes
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 4-6 minutes
Stir in chicken and pea pods
Simmer uncovered for 1 to 2 minutes
Serve!
