Baked Carmel Corn
- 6 to 7 qts of popped popcorn
- 1 c. melted margerine or butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark syrup or light
- 1/8 tsp. molasses
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c. peanuts optional
pop popcorn and put in large roaster pan.
stir and bring all ingredients to a boil except the soda and vanilla.
Stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes without stirring and remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla and the soda. Pour over popcorn and stir
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour..
Stirring every 15 min. Remove from oven. Cool and break apart.
