      pounds stew meat or short ribs

    • cup flour

    • 1

      teaspoon salt

    • ¼

      teaspoon pepper

    • 2

      cups hot water

    • 1

      package dry onion soup mix

    • 6 - 8

      oz. noodles

    Directions

    Shake beef in a sack with flour, salt and pepper. Place in casserole dish so that all pieces are separated and bake at 500F for 20 minutes. Turn oven down to 325F. Remove from oven and add 2 cups hot water and soup mix. Cover and bake for 1 - 2 hours. Remove from oven and add dry noodles. Bake @ 325F for 45 minutes with cover on dish, stirring occasionally. Add water if needed.
