Korma Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 pcs of chicken
  • 2 tsp ea of ginger and garlic pasta
  • 1 c finely chopped onion
  • Cardamoms (as desired)
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Yogurt (if you do not want to use any cream use more yogurt)
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Lemon Juice
  • Golden raisins as desired

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a saucepan add a bit of butter and a bit of oil – mix till hot. Add some onions, garlic and ginger – wait till onions are translucent.
2. Add some chicken – brown a little. Add the yogurt and a splash of cream to thin out the gravy. Add spices and mix – cook for 40 mins or until chicken is cooked through.
3. When the oil separates from the gravy add lemon juice and raisins. If desired add potatoes to the dish – cut in quarters and add before the chicken is added.
4. Serve with rice.
