Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter (1 1/2 cups), softened
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, cocoa and salt. Mix until creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix on medium speed until creamy and free of lumps. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container until ready to use. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature when ready to use.
Serves: Will frost 1 large cake or 24 cupcakes
