Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugars with a mixer until pale and fluffy, 4 minutes. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla. On low speed, add flour mixture, beat until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets with an ice cream scoop, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake until golden around edges but soft in middle, 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
