Merry, Cherry and Bright Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter , softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup HEATH BITS 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits
  • 1 cup dried dark cherries

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. Sift flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
3. Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
5. Gradually beat flour into the sugar mixture until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips, toffee bits and dried cherries until evenly distributed.
7. Drop a tablespoon of dough onto lined cookie sheet. (Small ice cream scoop will give the perfect size.)
8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges of cookies are golden brown.
9. Transfer to a cooling rack and cool completely.
