Ingredients

  • 10 oz. loaf stale challah, torn into 1" pieces
  • 8 lg eggs
  • 3 c whole milk
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Praline Topping
  • 2 sticks softened butter
  • 1 c packed lt brown sugar
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 2 T lt corn syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Heavily butter 13 x 9 pan. Arrange bread on one layer. Beat remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking spread with praline topping. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45-50 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
