Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1" pieces
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
- 1 T. black mustard seed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. white sugar
- ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Bring pot to boil and boil green beans in pot for 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Heat oil in skillet over medium heet. Stir in the mustard seed and garlic and cook unti golden brown. Add beans to skillet and season with salt and sugar. Cook and stir 8 mins, or until tender. Season with pepper and serve.
