PEPPERMINT SALAD

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 3/4 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 med. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3/4 c. pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 c. crushed peppermint candy

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve gelatin in water; add pineapple juice and chill until firm, then beat until fluffy. Fold in whipped cream and pineapple, nuts, and crushed candy (reserving a small amount for garnishing). Sprinkle reserved candy on top. Chill until ready to serve.
