- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 1/2 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
- 2 1/4 pounds beef tenderloin, but into 1 inch squares
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
1.) Heat oil and half the butter in pan and fry onions till translucent. Add mushrooms and fry till softened Remove onions and mushrooms with slotted spoon. 2.) Add the rest of the butter and add the steak. Saute quickly over high heat just till browned. 3.) Return the onions and mushrooms to the pan and stir and shake to mix with beef. Pour the cream and cook for 1 minute longer. Season well before serving.
