Baked Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 Ripe tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Slice the stem ends of the tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes in half and place cut side up in a 13 by 9-inch baking dish.
3. In a 10-inch skillet over low heat, melt the margarine. Stir in the bread crumbs, cheese, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Place 2 tablespoons of the mixture over each tomato half.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, until the topping is browned
