Brussels Sprouts with Smoked Ham and Pine Nuts | Food Network UK

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup smoked ham, cut into sticks (sub cooked bacon)
  • 3 tbsp toasted pine nuts
  • 3 cup brussels sprouts, finely sliced on a Japanese mandolin
  • 2 tbsp water

Preparation

Step 1

Drizzle a little olive oil into a pan and preheat. Add the brussel sprouts when the pan is HOT, add a little salt & pepper, and the crushed garlic (or stick clove on the end of a fork and use it to stir brussels sprouts) and cook quickly until slightly golden. Add the water and cover 1-1/2 min. Add the ham and toasted pine nuts and cook 30 seconds or until warm.
