I got this recipe many years ago from my Aunt. Very easy and very tasty!

Ingredients
- 5 lb. hamburger
- 6 Tbs curing salt
- 1 Tbs garlic powder
- 1 Tbs onion powder
- 2 C water
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp crushed pepper corn

Step 1
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl
Divide mixture into 1-lb portions (5 portions)
Wrap each 1-lb portion in foil and let set in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Place the 1-lb portions, still in foil, in a large pan of boiling water.
Boil portions for about 1 1/2 hours.
Remove portions from boiling water and poke small holes in the foil to allow them to drain any excess water/liquid from inside the package.
Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
May be frozen for longer storage.
