Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 egg yolks
• 1/2 cup thick sour cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 4 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Cream the shortening, add the sugar and mix well.

Add egg yolks, sour cream and vanilla extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients, mix well after each addition.

Fill cookie press. Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400° for 10-12 minutes.
