Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups skim milk
  • 3 (3-oz.) packages low fat cream cheese
  • 1 (16-oz.) bag frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded low fat Cheddar cheese
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers OR gluten free crackers

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown ground turkey and drain. Set aside.
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, salt and milk. Heat until sauce is thick and smooth; stirring constantly. Add cream cheese, stir until blended.
Place broccoli and ground turkey in 2 quart casserole dish. Pour sauce over broccoli and turkey. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover with cracker crumbs.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
