Lemon Crisps

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 T lemon juice
• 1 egg
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp lemon zest

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugars together.

Add lemon juice and egg, beat well.

Gradually add dry ingredients to mixture.

Add lemon zest. Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400° for 10-12 minutes.
