Ingredients
- 1 c shortening
- 1 3oz pkg cream cheese
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp finely grated orange zest
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the shortening and cheese well. Add sugar gradually and continue creaming.
Beat in egg yolk, vanilla extract and orange rind.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes.
