My Favorite Punch

Ingredients

  • 5 T. green tea
  • 8 c. boiling water
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. lemon juice
  • 1 qt. orange juice
  • 1 qt. grape juice
  • 1 qt. crushed pineapple
  • 1 1/2 gal. iced water
  • Ginger ale (as desired)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour the 8 cups boiling water over the green tea. Dissolve sugar in hot tea. Cool and combine with lemon juice, orange juice, grape juice (pineapple juice may be substituted), crushed pineapple and iced water. Ginger ale is added at punch bowl (about 1/2 bottle per bowl).
