Ingredients
- Dough: 8 cups flour
- 6 eggs
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 lb butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- Filling: MAKE ONE DAY AHEAD
- 2 lbs. Black Mission Figs
- 1/2 pkg pitted dates
- 1/2 lb raisins
- 1/2 lb roasted almonds
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 whole Fresh Tangerine
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 TBLSP Rum
- 1 TBLSP Honey

Preparation
Step 1
Put figs in food processor and grind up, add other ingredients and process until blended. Store in Tupperware and refrigerate overnight
Combine ingredients for Dough: Roll dough thin approx. 1 ft long x 6 inch wide and put the some filling down the middle. Fold over the dough so that now you have 1 ft. x 3 inches wide and then cut cookies every 2-3 inches. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 for 15 min.
Frosting: 1 lb powdered sugar, juice from one lemon - mix and add milk for consistency - when cooled - frost and add colored sprinkles
