Ingredients
- 1 Recipe Italian Herb Pizza Crust
- 1 Recipe Creamy White Sauce
- 1 (10-oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces and cooked
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place prepared pizza dough on a lightly oiled pizza pan sprinkled with some cornmeal; bake for 10 minutes. While crust is baking, cook spinach as directed on package. Drain well; squeeze to remove liquid. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Remove partially baked crust from oven. Top crust with sauce, spinach, onion, chicken, cheese and bacon. Return to oven; bake an additional 9 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
