Ingredients

  • Praline Topping:
  • 1 loaf French Bread 16 ounce
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tes vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tea cinnamon
  • 1/4 tea nutmeg
  • dash of salt
  • Praline topping recipe to follow
  • Maple syrup
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 tab light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tea cinnamon
  • 1/2 tea nutmeg
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl

Preparation

Step 1

Slice french bread into 20 1 inch slices. Arrange in a single layer overlapping in a well greased 9 x 13 pan.
Combine all French Toast ingredients except maple syrup, cover and put in fridge overnight.
Pre-heat oven to 350
Spread praline topping evenly 0ver toast. Bake 40 minutes until bubbly and puffed up. Serve with warm Maple syrup.
