Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Rice- a great way to start off you day and a nice change from the standard oatmeal. Studded with tender apples and spiced with cinnamon!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups brown rice
- 4 cups apple juice
- 4 apples cored and chunked (you may peel them if you wish)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2-3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Additional toppings of choice
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients, except butter, in a slow cooker. Dot the top of the rice with the butter. Cover with lid and cook on high for 2 hours. Spoon into bowls and top with desired toppings.
