Meatloaf-Ann Landers

Ingredients

  • 11/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp.brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together beef,rolled oats, tomato sauce, onion, salt and egg.Pack in a 9"x5" loaf pan. Bake at 350* for about 1 hour or until browned and juices run clear. Pour off any fat.
While meatloaf is baking, combine ketchup,brown sugar, mustard and Worchestershire sauce in a microwavable bowl.Heat until boiling.
After the meatloaf has baked for 1 hour, spoon sauce over top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Let stand for a couple minutes before serving so loaf is easier to cut.
