Tea Biscuits-Arthur Gramma's

Ingredients

• 4 c flour
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 2 tsp Baking Powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 c white sugar
• 1 tsp.Cream of Tartar(opt.)
• 1/2 lb Crisco
• 11/2 c buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco.Stir in Buttermilk just until mixed.Cut on floured board.Bake at 450* for 12-15 minutes.Do not overcook.Removed when brown and brush with Crisco.
