Classic Pesto

Ingredients

  • 4 C loosely packed basil leaves
  • 1/2 C grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C pine nuts, toasted
  • 1/2 C olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

place first 4 ingredients in food processor
cover & pulse until chopped
add nuts
cover & process until blended
while processing, gradually add oil in steady stream
