Super Easy Homemade Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 1 clove garlic(may want to start with less or you can sauté it first so it is not as strong.)
  • 2-3 tbls olive oil
  • up to 1/2 c water(use liquid from chickpeas)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • optional: black beans or roasted red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1) in food processor add chick peas, garlic, olive oil and 1/2 c water and salt. Puree until smooth adding remaining water one tbls at time
if the mixture is too sticky.
2) add any roasted peppers or beans.
3)You can add more olive until creamy.
Serve on pita, crackers, veggies or sandwiches.
