Ingredients
- 1 Rotisserie Chicken
- 1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/3 C. of Butter
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1 3/4 c. of chicken broth
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 unbaked pie crusts
Preparation
Step 1
Cook onions in butter until soft. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and celery seed. Slowly stir in Chicken broth and milk. Simmer over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and set aside. Add frozen vegetables to mixture.
Place the chicken in the bottom of a pie crust. Pour hot liquid over chicken. Cover with top crust, seal edges and cut away excess dough. Make several small slits in top crust. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
