Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. salmon fillet
  • 4 tablespoons butter (at room temperature) (*use ghee or clarified butter if Whole30/paleo)
  • scallions
  • lemon thinly sliced
  • olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse and pat dry salmon.

Use a little olive oil to coat the baking dish.
Place it in a shallow glass dish, skin down.
Spread butter (see below) over salmon
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

When the top of the fish looks white, it is done.

Do not serve with skin.

For the butter:
Take 4 T butter and mix it with scallions.
