Ingredients
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped blanched almonds
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 1/2-3 lbs. frying chicken, cut into pieces
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine bread crumbs, cheese, almonds, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper.
Melt butter with garlic in shallow baking pan. Dip chicken pieces in garlic butter and then in crumb mixture.
Place in a baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. Baste occasionally with pan drippings.
Do not turn chicken pieces.
