Pumpkin Pie

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 15 ounce can pumpkin (not pie mix)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell



Step 1

heat oven to 425 degrees.
Beat eggs in a lg. bowl. Stir in pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves. Gradually stir in half-and-half.
Pour pumpkin mixture into pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350. Bake for 40-50 minutes longer, or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
