Ingredients
- 1 package Manicotti
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbls. Italian seasoning
- 3 gloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan
- 2 to 3 cups Mozzarella
- 1/4 cup Romano cheese
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 2 Tbls. Parsley, finely chopped
- Tomato Sauce...Sweet Basil is a good one
Preparation
Step 1
Brown the ground beef and pork, cool somewhat and add beaten egg.
Add all ingredients and mix well.
Stuff uncooked Manicotti noodles. This can be done in advance and refrigerated or frozen.
Put 1/2 sauce in bottom of cake pan. Put in the manicotti and top with the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
If making a day ahead, bring to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
