Ingredients
- 3 lemons, halved
- 2 bags frozen artichoke hearts (Trader Joe's)
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 - 6 peeled garlic cloves, crushed
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix artichoke hearts and crushed garlic together.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil until nearly smoking. Sprinkle pan generously with salt and pepper. Place artichoke mixture in pan. Place lemon halves, cut side down, in between artichoke hearts. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook, until evenly browned underneath, 6-10 mminutes. Using tongs, lift the lemon halves and squeeze them over the artichokes, deglazing the pan with the juice.
Pour contents onto serving platter and garnish with lemon halves.
