Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Old El Paso hard and soft taco dinner kit
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3/4 cup refried beans, heated
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded lettuce

Preparation

Step 1

In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat until brown, stirring occasionally; drain
Stir in Seasoning Mix and water. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium; cook uncovered 2 to 6 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed.

Meanwhile, heat hard taco shells and tortillas as directed on box

Spread 2 tbsp. heated refried beans on each tortilla. Place 1 hard shell on center of 1 tortilla and gently fold sides of tortilla up to match hard shell sides. Spoon about 1/3 cup beef mixture into each double layer taco shell. Top with taco sauce, cheese and lettuce
