Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. pound mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups beer (approx.)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Grate cheese finely.

2. Stir in tomato paste, garlic salt, and Worcestershire. Add enough beer to form a smooth spreadable paste.

3. Serve with crackers, potato chips, rye bread rounds, thin pumpernickel, or melba toast.

*Do not use process cheese, only aged cheese.

*Can be stored in a covered jar in the refrigerator.

*Can be spread on bread and grilled for a hot sandwich.
