Ingredients
- Filling:
- Bake 1 crust pie shell. Cool.
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3 T. Cornstarch
- 1 Cup Water, or less
- 3 big T. Strawberry Jello
- 1 quart strawberries, halved
- Cool Whip Topping
- 2 T. Butter
- few drops red food color
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, cornstarch and water. Cook until thick and clear.
Remove from heat and stir in jello, butter and red coloring.
Put berries in pie and chill or mix berries in slightly cooled glaze and pour into crust.
Chill in refrigerator. Garnish with cool whip.
