Banana Cream Pie in a bowl/ Blog

Ingredients

  • Ingredients you'll need:
  • Banana Cream Pie In A Bowl.
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts
  • 1 box Banana Pudding (instant)
  • 2 cups cold Milk
  • 3 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 1 container of cool whip (8 oz)

Preparation

Step 1

Doubled the recipe.
First take the flour and brown sugar in a large bowl. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter. If you don't have a pastry cutter use two butter knives cutting against each other like I did. Do this until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in peanuts.
Press evenly into the bottom of a 9x9 or 8x8 baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Stir to break up. Let cool completely.
In your bowl (Large glass bowl) layer the bottom with a layer of the crust crumble.
You then layer with the banana pudding (prepare as directed). Then slice your banana's using an egg slicer so that they all come out the same size. If you want you can then sprinkle additional peanuts here. Then a layer of cool whip.
Repeat until you have a pretty masterpiece like this:
If you have any left over crumble sprinkle it across the top for a pretty touch.
The one thing I do want to warn about is that is doesn't last long. Even the next day it gets a bit runny. If you plan on making this I highly recommend making it the same day you're serving it.
