Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Mazola Corn Oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 shallots, finely minced
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Spice Islands Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 lime, zest and juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Thyme Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Sea Salt
- 1 Spice Island Bay Leaf

Step 1
Heat oil in large skillet. Add garlic, shallots, and crushed red peppers. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Pour in corn syrup, vinegar, apple juice, lime juice, thyme,sea salt and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and cook until sauce is reduced to thick syrup, about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat and strain.
Brush glaze over grilled shrimp, chicken or pork. Try adding mango and cilantro.
