OYSTER STEW {mom}

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts whole milk
  • 6 cans Geisha oysters
  • 1 stick butter
  • Salt and Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In large stockpot, put milk, the juice from all cans plus the oysters from 3 of the cans,
refrigerate remaining oysters. Heat VERY slowly, about 9:00 am if eating at 5:00 pm,
stirring occasionally. Just before serving, add butter, remaining oysters, salt and pepper to taste.


*Spray bottom of pan with non-stick spray before adding anything.
