This is so easy and is the best sweet potato pie I have ever eaten

  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell



Step 1

Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs and mix well
Add balance of ingredients and pour into pie shell

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.

Cool and store in refrigerator.
