Ingredients
- Chuck roast
- Salt
- Italian Seasoning

Step 1
We usually use a chuck roast but any will do.
Turn pan on high. Drop in meat. Brown meat on both sides.
Turn down to med. Heat and add water until about ½ - 2/3 up the edge of the roast. Turn stove back up to high.
Put Italian seasoning and salt on top.
When water boils, put in the over that is pre-heated to 200-225 degrees.
Put a lid on roast and stick in the oven.
Cook for 3 hours or until ready to eat. (Ours usually end up cooking about 4 1/2 -5 hours and it comes out very tender and delicious. Just make sure that you don’t let the pan run out of water or the roast will get dry.)
