Ingredients
- Chocolate Honey Butter:
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/3 c. chopped pecans or sliced almonds (opt)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 T. honey
- 2 T. chocolate syrup

Step 1
Heat oven to 350º. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients; mix well. Add to creamed butter while alternately adding buttermilk. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or til tests done. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack to cool completely. For butter: mix ingredients well. Serve spread on slices of bread.
