German Lager Brisket Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 22oz Becks Lager (i prefer dark)
  • 1/2 c red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 3 shallots, finely diced
  • 2 T honey
  • 2 t sea saly
  • 1 habanero pepper, halved and seeded (use gloves!)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients, whisking well to dissolve honey and salt. Marinate brisket in fridge for 24 to 48 hrs before smoking.
