Ingredients
- 5 bacon strips, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 4 medium potatoes,peeled and cubed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese (4 ozs.)

Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan,cook bacon until crisp;remove to paper towels.Drain,reserving 1 TBS. drippings.Saute onion in drippings until tender.Add water,potatoes,salt and pepper.Bring to a boil.Reduce heat;simmer, uncovered,for 12 minutes or until potatoes are done.
